About Us
Founder Katherine Noe Anderson grew up in Piedmont, California, inspired by a long line of builders—her great-grandfather who constructed churches, and her father who built luxury houses across Northern California and Nevada. As a young girl, she explored model homes with her father, drawn to their clean lines, sun-filled rooms, and the deeper idea that he was building more than houses—he was creating safe, welcoming places for people to live their lives.
Over time, Katherine came to believe that what we seek isn’t just shelter—it’s sanctuary. A home should be more than a place to store furniture. It should be a place where we feel held, seen, and supported. A space designed for connection.
That belief inspired her to found Perpetual Homes.
With astute business acumen and an eye for thoughtful design, Katherine leads Perpetual Homes in building small backyard cottages and ADUs that restore what matters most: relationships, intergenerational care, and real community, all at an accessible price. These are homes where grandparents help raise grandchildren. Where adult children care for aging parents. Where neighbors know one another by name. Every layout is crafted to encourage closeness, not isolation.
Backed by more than 40 years of development experience in Northern California, Katherine has mastered every phase of the building journey—from navigating complex permitting and approvals to overseeing quality design and construction—ensuring your sanctuary is both beautifully built and quickly realized.
Today, her growing team includes her two sons: Justin, a civil engineer, and William, a project manager—making Perpetual Homes not just a business, but a living testament of connection across generations.
Meet the People Behind Perpetual Homes
Building More Than Homes
At Perpetual Homes, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to live—and a chance to thrive. That’s why we support organizations around the world that focus on housing, education, and community uplift.
Pledge to Humanity
Through this global nonprofit, our founder Katherine and her son William have helped build homes in India and Kenya. Pledge to Humanity empowers people of all ages to serve—improving the lives of children, families, and seniors through hands-on volunteering and compassion-driven projects.
Lord’s Mountain Orphanage Education Foundation
In rural Zambia, Lord’s Mountain supports more than 50 children as they pursue their dreams through education. Thanks to this program, five students have already graduated from college—and 15 more are currently enrolled, including 11 young women. We’re proud to be part of their journey. By partnering with these and other grassroots organizations, we remain rooted in what matters most: community, dignity, and hope for the next generation.
